video clips
Use the video clips below to add detail to your writing. You could write an action scene about the video clip or you could pause a video and simply describe the thoughts, feelings and motives of the character as they appear on the screen. Remember when adding tension to your writing you can refer to the senses. What do your characters hear, touch, smell, see, taste or feel?

Some writers may find music quite distracting, but it's worth giving it a go, especially as many authors recommend it. Click on the different YouTube clips below. Most of them are action scenes, but simply press play and start to write with the music. It is amazing to see how many interesting ideas you can get on to paper in such a short period of time.
